From Grandma and Grandad Pearson on 24/09/2010

Right from being a small boy it was clear that Paul knew how to make the most of every chance. He seized the day almost before it had dawned. But most of all he infected everyone he met with his special kind of enthusiasm for life. We can still hear his laughter as he urged me to drive ever faster through the ford at Rufford - "Go on, Grandad, wet dem kids!" As a young man he would laugh as his bike wheelies made his Grandma shriek with alarm. As a boy and as a man he brightened up afresh our fading lives. Thank-you, Paul, your generous-heatrted spirit lives in our hearts for ever.
